Wednesday walk with the turtles

It was a beautiful morning on the beach!

Nests 55 and 56 found in zone 2 , and nest 57 found in zone 4/5. All left in situ - momma turtles did a good job picking a spot ! And nest 58 found in zone 6 , was relocated.

The picture below was taken by a turtle volunteer - it shows the beautiful sunrise on our beach… with someone’s trash left behind. Let that sink in for a moment. 😢
