The Turner House at St. Phillips Island

The Turner House is a 3,350 square foot house with five bedrooms and five baths.  This house was built with materials brought over by boat and was constructed shortly after Ted Turner purchased the island in 1979.  The house has one master bedroom, four other bedrooms, five baths, a dining room/game room, den, fully equipped kitchen, living room, large screened porch and deck.

  • Master bedroom is located downstairs and has one king bed with a connected master bath.

  • Two bedrooms located upstairs have queen beds.

  • Two bedrooms located upstairs have a queen bed and a twin bed. 

  • There are two hall bathrooms upstairs and one "en suite" bath.

  • Binocular, bird spotting scope & telescope

  • Bicycles, kayaks

  • Golf carts for access to beach along the beach trail (not permitted on other trails)

  • Wi-fi

  • Boat dock - guests are permitted to have one private boat at the island. The boat dock may be used for convenience.

Rental Information

Check-in time is between noon and 3 p.m. and check-out is 10 a.m. for all rentals.  Due to the required boat travel to reach the island, all arrivals must be scheduled for noon to 3 p.m.  We are not able to accommodate late arrivals at this time. All rentals require a minimum of a five-night stay.

Standard Rental

  • House rental only.  The island remains open to tours during stay.

  • Rental price is $12,000 (for five nights) and includes a $1,000 grocery credit.

  • Includes transportation to and from the island plus ONE pre-scheduled daylight shuttle during your stay.

Exclusive Rental

  • Rental of entire island.  Island is closed to the public for tours.

  • Rental price is $20,000 (for five nights) and includes a $2,000 grocery credit.

  • Includes transportation to and from the island plus ONE pre-scheduled daylight shuttle during your stay.

  • Includes optional ranger-led programs.

  • Exclusive rentals must be booked more than 90 days in advance.
