Turtle patrol was out on the beach this morning checking nests… it was a breezy cool morning with some rough surf! A couple of surfers were taking advantage of the waves.
A few straggler hatchings from a previously hatched nest made their way to the ocean this morning…. Video of hatchling below
After patrol volunteers inventoried a nest. The nest had 121 eggs. 108 hatched, 13 unhatched. That’s a good success rate !
