Nesting Winding Down, Hatchings on the Rise

Not the end of nesting season yet, but it seems to be getting close. Buddy will make the official call on that. We have been holding at 126 nests now for 4 days. That’s at the low end of the prediction made earlier (unfortunately). Looks like a down nesting year for HI. Not unexpected.
