What's with all the non nesting

After Tuesday's 7 non nesting crawls with no nests.
Wednesday was expecting lots of nests .
Unfortunately 2 nests with 5 non nesting crawls (NNC).
Though nor'easter ripping down the beach erased any tracks or body pits that were in soft sand. We could have some surprise hatching in coming months. Zone 6 also got in the game with it's first activity of the season .
