The first nest of the season is dedicated to our "Boss on the Beach" , Buddy. Buddy has dedicated 25 years to the project and missed his first ever season start due to being admitted to the hospital the day before our season started. All the Turtle Volunteers send him wishes of a speedy recovery and we hope to see him back on the beach soon!

Remember, if you visit the beach, never go near a sea turtle (if your lucky enough to see one), or shine lights on them at night, and please, when you leave,

KEEP THE BEACH:

  • CLEAN

  • FLAT

  • DARK

📸 The pictures were taken by permitted volunteers under permit 2024-MTP537 & 2024-MTP565, Following all rules and guidelines. Only permitted individuals are allowed to engage in sea turtle conservation activities.
