Turtle in the purple

Nest #74 was found in Zone 4 today. No other activity on the beach. Momma turtles took a break last night!

It was a windy morning on the beach - with high tide coming in. Red flag 🚩 warning ⚠️ - rough seas and rip currents.

Rip current tip: If caught in a rip current, don't swim against the current. Swim parallel to the shore and swim back to land at an angle.

As we move further into our nesting season we continue to remind guests on our beach to carry in carry out your trash. Fill in all holes dug on the beach, and please NO LIGHTS ON THE BEACH AT NIGHT!

Do NOT leave tents, chairs, or other items in the dunes for the next day! Remove your gear and bring it back the next day.
