Saturday Post - Nest #1 of the Season!

It was a very chilly morning for May, but that didn't stop this momma. The first sea turtle nest was found just South of the lighthouse. The orange dot is where the egg chamber was located. 137 eggs were in the nest, 135 eggs were relocated to higher ground and 2 were found broken inside the nest. There were also 3 false crawls found, just North of the lighthouse.
