Crabby Thursday

There was not any turtle activity today but, we did manage to save around 3,000 crabs. That's not a typo. At the cut for the lagoon in zone 2, thousands of blue claw crabs were left stranded when the tide went out. The entire cut was filled with jouvenal blue claws. The team, with the aid of a lovely young family, spent a little more than an hour placing crabs into buckets and liberating them in the surf.
