It was a seven nest day on Tuesday! It is quite a site to walk the beach and see so many protected nests...175! Every single nest safely identified and marked represents roughly 100-130 eggs protected from predators, foot traffic, and high tides. In a world where only about 1 in 1,000 hatchings survives to adulthood, a seven-next day significantly tilts the odds in their favor.
